Young Bristol has come a long way since opening its first Boys Club in 1928. Now in 2018, our charity is turning 90, still going strong and has plenty planned to celebrate.

Today is the reveal of our new logo, which emphasizes the 90 years of community-based youth provision Young Bristol is proud to have achieved.

Throughout 2018, we will be holding a number of events to commemorate this achievement. We will be launching a 90th-year appeal, which will help to raise funds for an entirely new programme that the charity will be undertaking by the end of the year. Our youth clubs across Bristol will be holding their own events, raising funds within their communities and our fundraising committee will be hosting a celebration dinner.

In true Young Bristol style, our supporters will also be raising funds through amazing physical tests, including running the London Marathon, climbing the equivalent height of Everest at Red Point and completing the 100-mile canoe test in Wales.

To express our gratitude to our supporters, we will also be hosting a reunion event to bring past and present club members together, as it is the members, volunteers, and staff across the club network that make Young Bristol special.

We are proud and humbled to be entering our ninetieth year and are looking forward to the events that will enable us to continue our vital youth work across the city. We are also extremely grateful to all our supporters who have helped us to be where we are today.

Operations Plan for 2025 -26: Better never stops!

At Young Bristol, we continue to reflect the what, how and why in order to improve our services, better support our people and develop our facilities.

To ensure we deliver against our outcomes and aims, Young Bristol has implemented an Operations Plan for 2025 - 26. The strategic plan identifies our five key pillars from Our Strategy for 2025 - 28, assigning objectives and outputs that can be measured throughout the operating period.

We introduced our Operations Plan to work alongside Our Strategy and Theory of Change. Our Strategy outlines five key pillars to focus on during 2025 - 28: - Our Partnerships, Our People, Our Places, Our Power to and Our Programmes. We aim during this period to create safe, fit-for-purpose buildings to support our delivery of high-quality services, providing service users and our employees with opportunities to grow and thrive. Our Theory of Change allows us to reflect on our work and the impact we have, it establishes a framework, and ensures our work aligns with our vision.

By continuing to review our work, reflect on our impact and consult with our stakeholders we can continue to have a clear, demonstratable vision which aligns with our values and goals, for ever young person.
